Adaptive Built Environment Lab

Graduate Education

Research Methods

BCN6036 & DCP7911

The course is concerned with the successful design, execution, and reporting of research within the construction disciplines. Students will become familiar with the research proposal development process and the statistical, computational, visualization, and presentation tools available to the researchers.

Integrated Project Delivery

BCN5789C, BCN5905

(School of Architecture + Rinker School of Construction Management)

The Integrated Project Delivery Studio is intended to introduce students to the challenges and rigors of developing a philosophical position and a research-based design process that is collaboratively accessible and elastic.

Environmental Technology

ARC6911

This course investigates acoustical, thermal, and luminous qualities within the built environment, with an emphasis on building envelope and system design. The main goal of the course is to advance students’ knowledge of computational modeling in building technologies such as lighting and energy simulation.
